Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups water
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoons of Superior TouchTM Mejor Que Caldo Chicken Tomato Base.
- 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
- 1 small chopped onion chopped
- 1 garlic mince clove
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 tomato pureed
- 1 cup of fiesta frozen corn
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups water, ½ tsp. black pepper and 1 ½ teaspoons of Superior TouchTM Mejor Que Caldo Chicken Tomato Base. Bring mixture to a simmer. In large saucepan, heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 1 small chopped onion chopped, 1 garlic mince clove, and 1 cup white rice. Cook approximately 10 minutes, stirring until lightly browned. Add 1 tomato pureed, 1 cup of fiesta frozen corn and broth that has been simmering. Scrap rice down and stir well. Cover, and continue to cook over medium-low heat for approximately 20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and fluff rice. Serve hot.
