Ingredients
- ½ lb each ground beef and chorizo sausage
- 1 egg
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- ¼ cup minced carrot
- ½ cup cooked rice
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 6 cups of water
- 6 tsp Mejor Que Caldo Chicken Tomato Base
- ½ cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped celery
- ½ tsp cumin,
- 1 tsp dried oregano,
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup sliced zucchini

Instructions
In a bowl mix ½ lb each ground beef and chorizo sausage,1 egg , 2 minced garlic cloves, ¼ cup minced carrot, ½ cup cooked rice, ½ cup chopped cilantro, ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp black pepper. Using the palms of your hand, form mixture into 20-24 meatballs. In a large soup pot combine 6 cups of water and 6 tsp Superior TouchTM Mejor Que Caldo Chicken Tomato Base. Add, ½ cup chopped onions, 1-16 ounce can diced tomatoes, 1 cup chopped celery, ½ tsp cumin, 1 tsp dried oregano, ¼ tsp black pepper and 1 cup chopped cilantro. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add meatballs and 1 cup sliced zucchini, return to a simmer for 10 minutes. Serve Hot.
