Artichoke Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
  • 3 medium-sized artichokes, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 3 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 tbs Butter
  • 1 meduim-sized onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • 2 cups canned Italian-style tomatoes.
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp Better Than Bouillon Vegetable base
Instructions
Heat oil and butter and cook the artichokes, stirring constantly, for three minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and pepper to taste. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until the artichokes are tender. Serve over cooked pasta.
